INFORMATION ON FOOD AND DRINKS
All food items brought into Fiji including beverages and ingredients for cooking, even the smallest amounts, need to be declared. Regulated food items include (and are not limited to):
- Fresh fruits and vegetables
- Dried, cooked, pickled or preserved fruits and vegetables
- Meat and products containing meat
- Dairy and products containing dairy
- Poultry and poultry products
- Eggs and products containing egg
- Seafood (prawns, shrimps, lobsters, muscles, octopus, squid, fish, etc.)
- Dried mushrooms and other edible fungi
- Honey and honey products
- Seeds for human consumption and for processing into food
- Spices, herbs and un-popped popcorn
- All types of nuts and dates
